This reads like a benediction. Thank you. And as they say in my tradition, “And also with you.”

I was doing ok until I got to the end...

"Let the grace of the one who dances through the cosmos and whispers in the stillness of our hearts be with you as your faith evolves and transforms. And may you begin to truly know, down to your bones, that you are loved, loved, loved right now - both as you are and as all that you will become."

... and then I just started sobbing. It's really quite beautiful and so needed.

Thank you for a really sweet reminder.

Thank you. I’m crying. At 73, I never thought I’d be questioning everything. Prayer has always been solace, and now I can’t. And it’s scary and heartbreaking. And I want to be RIGHT about what I hold to. God help me. And all of us.

I think I'll need to read and reread this to let it sink in and settle in my bones. Wow. Thank you for these words.

Sarah, it doesn't matter what I read of yours - whether it's here, in a book, wherever - the tight little knots in my soul all loosen and I feel such a lovely release. Thank you for your spirit and your words, which just ARE benediction and blessing (is that redundant? haha!).

Today I’m transitioning out of a vocational ministry job I’ve been at for nearly 17 years. Leaving on my own terms, but not, because I no longer share all of the same views, and they have closed the door. This essay has been a deep breath in one hell of a strange week. Thank you Sarah. I’m returning to this often ❤️

Thank you. A beautiful prayer which I hope to share with others who are just starting to embrace the 'diversity of beliefs and experiences that enrich the tapestry of faith.'

Thank you, Sarah, for remembering those in the wilderness and covering them in prayer. I am still in that wilderness with church post-COVID and in a different kind of wilderness with young adult children who have left whatever faith and practice they learned behind them. I take great comfort in Adam and Eve’s story … who had a perfect Father. Hugs, you! And may the Spirit continue to make your paths clear and draw all those He is calling to your weekend. Amen!

Sarah Bessey you are simply a rock star in the sphere of helping others navigate their humanity and their place in the spiritual world.

I am thankful I was born to be alive at the same time as you.❤

I am thankful that somehow the breadcrumbs of the internet...probably Hatmaker to Bolz-Weber led me to your A Rhythm of Prayer book and from there to your IG and finally here to Field Notes (well that was all many months ago). Whew, what a journey. I am so glad because your writing continues to astound me in the best possible way.
