Thank you for being yet another powerful, profound, mystical, and well timed intersection in my life from the Lord; as I enter the most obvious/directed/painful season of my 54 years young life.
This blessing is just....so very beautiful and deeply heart filling!
Also, I am still savoring your words from your essay last week on our Jesus and beloved Mary Magdalene. My heart was reminded of the time many years ago, after attending an Easter/Pascha Vigil and Midnight Feastal Liturgy, when I got home afterwards in the very late pre-dawn hours, I just couldn't remain indoors/head for bed. I found I needed to stay out doors for a very long time and drink in the wonder and holiness of that pre-dawn. Every Resurrection day, my heart is always, always drawn to Jesus's mom, Mary Magdalene, and the other "Holy Myrhhbearing" women who went in their fierce and tender love to tend to Him.
(In the tradition of the Eastern church, the 2nd Sunday after the Resurrection every year, the Holy Myrhhbearing Women are remembered and honored.)
Thank you so very much for this series. I am looking forward to what you will share next!
When I read the line “ask us to come out and play” I was transported to when I was a girl visiting my grandparents in Green Bay Wisconsin in the 60s, my friends would come to the the side of the house or close to the door and in a sing-song way call out “Peggy”. And immediately I heard Jesus singing my name to come out and play! Thank you for your blessing!
It’s a tad bit hard to read through the tears pouring out of my eyes. Such daring, yet tenderness. Such bravery without bravado. Such truth without guilt or shame. I am drenched: in the ever flowing grace of the Divine Essence, and in the beauty of how you string words together. Thank you for being a conduit of the Living Presence.
This series has come at a good time. When I’m trying to figure out the murky middle of where I am and where I might be going. Sometimes I feel like I have to figure it all out NOW whether I believe any of it or none of it or maybe some of it. Reading your thoughts and insights is so helpful that there can be a middle ground between throwing everything out and being…pagan? Agnostic? And going right back to all the entrapments and responsibilities and requirements that I’m trying to disentangle myself from.
Thank you for these glimpses of Jesus in new ways.

What a wonderful prayer, it includes so all these pieces of life, we are living in and struggling with, should be prayed in church every Sunday...
Agreed!
Just wow!!!! The way you write, helps me enter the presence of Yahweh. So so beautiful ♥️.
Thank you for the audio on the podcast. Your voice brings it into being beautifully.

Sarah I love this series so much! Right now I can’t deal with sermons and other churchy stuff but you are now one of my few Sabbath preachers! Ty🩷
Let's take it through Advent, at least!
Thank you for this wonderful blessing.
