YESSS

Also biggest of eye rolls to "distracting for American listeners." Dear Sarah's publisher, I promise we can handle it. 🤣🤣🤣

Hoping you are doing ok in this highly vulnerable book launch season. Concerned about your well-being in light of the absence of footnotes in the Field Notes….😊💜

Thank you for sharing that clip of showing the book dedication to your mom. I have watched it multiple times and it is the sweetest. Literally makes me want to write a book just so I can dedicate it to someone I love and get to share that with them.

"Red Brother, Red Sister" by Steve Bell (a great artist from Manitoba)--I heard him sing it in concert over a decade ago, and it was one of the first times when anyone had ever acknowledged reconciliation in a faith environment.

I am LOVING having you narrate the audiobook! The accent isn't distracting at all – it's YOU!

You might want to add "You Are Not Alone" Allison Russell and Brandi Carlisle. Take a listen.

Sarah! You’ll be in IL super close to me! Is the retreat for anyone, or just pastors & church leaders?

Such a wonderful collection of book-related goodies! Hearing you talk about how you wrote the book for your youth group kids warmed my heart so much 🥰 I did youth ministry for five years, and leaving the kids was the hardest part of resigning. I’m still connected with some of my very first kiddos, though - I met them when they were 12, and now they’re turning 20 this year! I had dinner with one last night because she needed her “Liz fix”, and we nerded out about video games for three hours. Another will text me whenever she makes it into her college theatre shows so I can come see her perform. It makes me so happy, and hearing that you’re still connected with your girls-turned-women reminds me that these bonds really can last a lifetime! You may feel that you weren’t a “good” youth pastor’s wife, but what I learned during my time in ministry is that the ones who simply stick around are the important ones—you’re sticking around, and that absolutely has made a huge difference for them! You’re being faithful in the seemingly small things, and that matters. What you described is so much of what I hope for my former youth group kiddos, and I’m so glad yours have you in their lives ❤️

My copy of the guided journal came in the mail yesterday - so excited!!

I was so thrilled to see that you will be in my hometown! Years ago, you were a guest on my podcast and I was so grateful and SOOO nervous to talk with you. You were kind, gracious, but all I remember is me being awkward and not really talking like a regular human at all. I'm sure it was probably fine, but enneagram 3 that I am, I wanted far more than fine! I've also never met Kate Bowler and I thought this would be my chance. And then I saw the date. My only-child daughter is going to high school next year and Thursday is the orientation for grade 8 families to learn all about it. I'm not missing that for the world. But I wanted to leave you a note to say that I'm a huge fan (of you and Kate) and to say thank you for writing, and thank you for being on my podcast that one time, and thank you for coming to Winnipeg and doing this event at the best bookstore ever! Wish I could be there to get a signed book and maybe have another awkward conversation, but I want far more to be alongside my daughter as she navigates this part of her life. Blessings on this book launch season!

Just a shameless plea for you and Kate to come to Saskatoon to launch your books!!! I know there would be many, many people who would be thrilled to see you both; pretty sure we could pack out McNally Robinson's here no problem. :) Let me know what I can do to help make this happen. :) A Mennonite potluck? Copious amounts of Tim Horton's coffee? :)
