Sarah, I really enjoy your friendly and breezy but earnest writing — although we are hardly in the same land. Well, we are both Canadian but I’m old enough to be your granny (75), have not needed healing from bad religion, never been an evangelical Christian (always in the progressive lane), married later, no kids. You’ve found an audience beyond your demographic — just so you know! Waving appreciatively from Vancouver 👋😊❤️.
Grateful for you, Sarah. Thank you for your words, the gift of your presence and the way you humbly lead and share. And to this community of subscribers, I’m not one to chime in often but that in no way diminishes the feeling of being held and supported in this space. Blessings to everyone as we end the old and begin the new.
Thank you Sarah for helping us make our way through another year. I don’t comment much and have many newsletters piled up in my inbox waiting for me to find the right moment. Even when I’m behind, whenever I do get around to reading (and I always eventually do), there’s always a nugget of wisdom or a great recommendation waiting. I appreciate your words and thoughts and encouragement so much and am glad to continue to support you in all you’re doing, whether it’s this newsletter or preordering books, or hearting a post on Instagram. May 2024 be a full year of hope and growth and fun.
So grateful for your voice in the wilderness. Your essays, notes, and fun content are terrific! Field Notes is a part of the rhythm of my life. Cheers to an amazing 2024!! Nan Smith from KS
Thankyou Sarah for all you do and for continuing to show up for all of us!♥️Grateful for you. I appreciate your words and thoughts very much and how you humbly lead and point us always to Jesus ♥️Can’t wait for your latest book, sending lots of new year blessings to you all the way from Northern Ireland :)
So great! Thanks for sharing and for creating this space - and for all your courage and writing over the last several years. Excited to continue to follow you in 2024!
Thank you, Sarah. Your Field Notes become my quiet time whenever they arrive. I enjoy all of it, and I will be glad to fill out your painless survey :). Your article on revival brought back good memories and made me realize what a good thing it was that I actually got to be part of a revival in my lifetime, even if I have no current wish to rush off to Asbury.
Thank you for sharing your family photo. You have a beautiful family.
Thanks Sarah for your honest sharing in these newsletters - I live in NZ, aged 54 with 3 grown up sons in their mid twenties (probably not your normal demographic like what Elaine said lol) and every newsletter says something to me for that particular moment I am in. Thanks for the time you invest in us , your readers. I am grateful that you continue to share as you grow in your own relationship with others and God. Keep going, please don't stop. I hope you have an amazing 2024 filled with experiencing more of God's love and a deepening of relationships and a fresh perspective of wonder, mystery and nature.
